It’s not the newest place, but it clearly feels like the owners’ home, which gave it a special feel. The husband and wife running it were easygoing and helpful, and they kept the place clean. I really liked staying here and would recommend it. There’s a strong local feel on this busy little side street, with vendors in shops and out on the street, plus commuters around. Food prep starts early, from 3am onward. We went out at 5.30am and got four charcoal-grilled pork skewers and two liver ones, pork slices with fried egg on rice, and half a freshly diced papaya for 220 bhat, just under £5 or euros for two. A 7 11 and popular attractions are nearby, the MRT is 600m away, and the river is about the same distance. Chinatown is one stop up on the MRT.

We had a relaxing, easy stay and would recommend the place. The hosts were always around if we needed help, and they were friendly. Shops, restaurants, and main attractions are close by, so getting around was convenient. Our room was well maintained, clean, and comfortable, with a good bathroom, a comfy bed, and everything we needed.

A good low-budget hostel for travelers. The staff are helpful and treat you like family, and the food outside is okay. The city is less than 1km away. Highly recommend for travelers on a budget.

The coffee downstairs costs 200bah, while the shop next door charges 30baht. Restaurants were expensive and the food was disgusting. I was very disappointed by the rude office staff. They looked like they weren’t paid enough, which I feel sorry about, but if they don’t like the job, why not change it?
