Adventure Hostel

The interiors were clean, the sheets were comfy, and the toilet was really, really clean. I arrived after midnight and found a nice little letter with my name, keycard, and a few details on it, a thoughtful touch. This was my second time at Adventure Hostel, and the facilities were still very clean and well maintained. The place didn't have the same vibe as before, when there were lots of tourists, but I still had a good stay. It's also close to Don Meaung, so why not give it a try?

The location is a plus: it's next to a metro station, a ten-minute walk to Chatuchak Market, and twenty minutes on foot to Mochit Bus station. I was really happy to find this place. The hostel is cosy and comfortable, with beds that are a good size and have privacy, a light, and charging points. The doors use secure key-card access, and the washrooms and toilets are very clean and well equipped. I'd recommend it. It's not especially cheap, but for the quality it's not too expensive either.

The only real upside is being near Chatuchak market. The place is stylish and has a homey look, but they charged extra fees for nearly everything. For what you get, it's too expensive. You can find really good hostels in Bangkok for less than $10 a night, without tons of extra charges.

The lockers are downstairs, which makes them less convenient whenever you need something and gives more people access to them. Everything else was great. The hostel looks amazing, is impeccably clean, and has the nicest showers I've seen in a hostel in seven months of travelling. The friendly staff helped me book a bus ticket. I stayed two nights because it was near Chatuchak Bus Terminal, where I needed to catch a bus. The dorms have pod-like beds with two power sockets and a light each, and keycard access is required for both the hostel and dorms. There's free coffee and tea in the kitchen, plus a roof terrace and common area. The decor has all kinds of cool things, like a traffic light and pylons. It's near the Weekend Market, and Sukhumvit is a short BTS ride away.
