Akara is a lovely hotel a couple of km from Sukhumvit and other tourist areas. The rooms are nicely done and well equipped, and the staff are very polite and helpful. I stayed only one night before a late flight the following day, then checked out and spent the day at Ayutthaya. When I came back, the staff kindly offered me a shower even though I’d already checked out. Breakfast was mostly Thai food, with eggs, toast, and coffee also available. Highly recommend.

The clean pool and its lovely view made for a relaxing break, and there was also a complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle to Phaya Thai station on request. From the moment we arrived from Chiang Mai, the hotel's signature fragrance and old-money charm stood out. The check-in staff were friendly and easy to talk to, and throughout the stay they were a call away and quick to bring extra amenities. Housekeeping even set up our electronic tablet and colouring book for us to use when we returned to our room. At checkout, Rich the bellboy carefully helped carry and weigh my luggage, while Porsche and Ray were soft-spoken and pleasant as they assisted us. It was a comfortable, memorable stay, and we’d definitely return.

I went in without expectations since it was my first time at a 5 star hotel, and I don’t follow social media influencers. I had a lovely time. The hotel is chic, clean, and beautiful, with polite, helpful staff and delicious food. The rooftop views are great, though I don’t drink, so I can’t comment on the bar. I was surprised by an unexpected birthday treat when I arrived. The gym was excellent, and breakfast had lots of variety and tasted great. Thanks to the Akara staff for taking such good care of me. I’d highly recommend it.

Our kids loved staying at Akara Hotel Bangkok, which made our family trip extra special. We spent 5 nights there and were very comfortable. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with spacious, cozy rooms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive whenever we needed anything. They also gave us a thoughtful Christmas card during the Christmas season. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to families.

Sarah, the manager, stood out for being so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Her focus on guest satisfaction made us feel valued throughout our visit. The rest of the team were polite, professional, and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Akara Hotel Bangkok was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, and the service and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it.
