Alisara Apartments

I spent three days at this lovely hotel, which Mr. Peter owns and manages. The room was clean, the shower had proper water pressure, and the air conditioning was modern. Peter was helpful with everything, as were all the staff. I’d gladly recommend staying here. Thank you, Peter and everyone.

Peter was the best part of our stay. He was warm, welcoming, and a great host, and took us to see some local markets. We loved our time at Alisara Hotel and found it hard to leave, though we hope to return soon. For our first visit to this part of Asia, the place worked well as a quiet, authentic, affordable base. Central Bangkok was about an hour away by taxi. Nearby, there are restaurants, a 7.11, and a Thai massage parlour where we had a couples massage for 350 baht per person. The hotel and rooms are good quality, and the lift was a practical help since we stayed on the fifth floor. Thanks for having us! Midi & Kamila

The only thing I wish is that I could've stayed longer. I spent two months here and it was hands down the best place I've stayed in Thailand. Peter was so kind and went above and beyond for me and my four month old puppy, who I got while travelling here. I felt at home, comfortable, and safe as a solo female traveller, and the neighbourhood was welcoming and friendly. The hotel has a free breakfast, big clean rooms, a huge rooftop terrace, private balconies, and roomy, comfortable beds. It's quiet, and there's a cheap local bus that circles the area for 9 baht. There are 7/11s and eateries nearby, and I really liked the cafe next door for its Italian soda. Other places had allowed dogs but seemed unhappy about it, so I felt I had to keep my pup away from breakfast. Here, that wasn't an issue, and we weren't charged a pet fee, unlike at many other hotels. I can't recommend this place enough. Thanks again, Peter, for being so kind to us. God bless you.

There's a 7 eleven and plenty of food stalls nearby, so you won't go hungry 😂. I came from Indonesia and paid just Rp230,000 on Traveloka, which felt like great value. The owner is friendly, and the hotel is spotless. My room had a fridge, clothes rack, table and chair, TV, water heater, and clean toilet. It also had a balcony with fresh air and good ventilation. They provided all the basics too, including soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and shower cap. I checked in at 2 a.m. and nobody was at reception, but there's a bell by the door to ring if you need help.
