The capsule itself was clean and comfortable, and there’s a kitchen, common room, and cafe. Chatuchak Market is only a 10-minute walk away. At first I was impressed, but after two nights I found the AC only ran at half power, the staff seemed indifferent, and the water heater on the 4th floor was broken. The bathrooms could also use a light scrub every year or so.

I stayed in a hostel room and would come back. There are plenty of tables for working, and the WiFi signal is strong. Fans or AC were running all the time, so ventilation was excellent. Staff are friendly and attentive, and they clean the restrooms daily to keep the rooms free of smells. Noise could be better at times, but that was a small issue overall.

A comfortable stay for the money, with clean rooms and easy access to nearby facilities. This hostel is very budget-friendly and well connected. I’d recommend it to solo travelers and couples alike.

We stayed in a double room. It was small but acceptable, and the shower pressure was low but manageable. The hostel is clean, and we could communicate with the staff. Check-out is at 11am, and you can leave your backpack there and pick it up after your last shopping. Thumbs up overall!

I had a frightening stay in a single room at Aora Hostel Bangkok. While I was inside, another guest repeatedly tried to open my door. The lock pad was broken too, which made the situation feel even less secure. I can’t imagine how much worse it might have been if I hadn’t been in the room, or if a solo female traveler were staying there. If safety and peace of mind matter to you, I strongly recommend staying away.
