We booked a Twin Room for a short stopover so my son and I could meet friends I hadn’t seen in a decade. It worked well as a base, with the places we wanted to see within walking distance. Emsphere shopping mall has a huge food court on the ground floor, and IKEA-Sukhumvit is on the 2nd-3rd floors. There are also two SkyTrain stations on the Green Line for getting around, plus Rung Rueang Pork Noodle shop, known for its Michelin Bib Gourmand award and famous noodle dish. I’ll review that separately. One thing to know about the location: the hotel is down an alley, not on the main road, so getting there can be a little tricky. Some taxi drivers drop you right at the entrance, while others pick you up only from the main road, even when Grab Taxi has the exact location. That’s worth keeping in mind if you have a lot of luggage.

My stay at Baan Sukhumvit Inn Soi 20 was pleasant. The main drawback was the room size. It was clean, comfortable and well maintained, but there wasn’t much space. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the convenient location has plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Apart from the small room, I had a positive experience.

I’ve stayed here twice, in August and September 2024, and plan to return on my next trip. It’s a great value, with clean, quiet rooms, a tasty breakfast, and super friendly, efficient service. This is a small hotel in a central spot, with easy access to the BTS and MRT. Jack :)

At the end of the Soi, and I’m loving it! Clean, updated and homey, with friendly people and a memory foam type mattress.

I picked this hotel for the good price and convenient location. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was very modern. It also had a fridge, electric kettle, safe and LCD TV. The reception is staffed around the clock, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s an elevator too, though I’m not sure about the parking. It’s near a BTS station, Terminal 21 shopping mall and Emshpere food court, with nightlife spots like Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza close by. I’d recommend it if you’re in Bangkok to enjoy the nightlife.
