Baan Tepa Boutique House

The homestay was wonderfully peaceful, away from all the hustle and bustle. The lovely elderly couple who run it gave me such a warm welcome, including a delicious homemade drink and a small gift. The lady’s cooking is amazing too. She makes a fresh, incredibly tasty breakfast that kept me going for hours.

The guesthouse is pleasant and filled with plants, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. The welcoming Thai couple were extremely nice, and breakfast was tasty and fresh. The lady even offered to do our laundry and hung it up to dry in our room the same day. I’d definitely come back. It’s not as central and isn’t well connected by public transport, but Grab cabs are so cheap that this didn’t affect the experience at all.

The house has a peaceful outdoor area where you can eat breakfast or relax, and my room was incredibly spacious. I even had what felt like an extra room next to the bathroom, which was a very pleasant surprise. The house itself is a lovely traditional one. I stayed in November, and this was the highlight of my Bangkok trip. The hosts, a lovely couple, welcomed me with tea and a beautiful tote bag. In the morning, breakfast was cooked after I chose what I wanted to eat the next day. It was amazing, and always came with fresh fruit, a really nice gesture. The hosts were extremely kind, attentive and nice. It was a great stay.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful vibe here. The owners are kind, generous and helpful, and the location feels incredibly special to me. Rooms are basic, but they have undeniable charm and great amenities. It’s exceptional value for money, especially with a home-cooked breakfast in the morning.
