BaanSu Hostel

The rooms were comfortable and well prepared, and the space was clean. For the quality, the price felt very reasonable. What stood out most was the attentive, kind hospitality. Our family, the Kim family from Vietnam, has just returned home, and we wanted to write about how welcome we felt at BaanSu. From the moment we arrived, it was like visiting relatives we hadn’t seen in ages. The place gave us a peaceful, relaxing feeling of being at home. If we get the chance to return, BaanSu will be our first choice. Hope to see you again soon!

The owners were lovely and really helpful, and the rooms had loads of space. I’d happily stay again next time I’m in Bangkok. The walls are a little thin, though, so noise can carry, depending on who else is staying there.

I’d seen good reviews and decided to try the hostel. So glad I did. Our room for three was roomy and comfortable, very clean, with good facilities. The bed and blanket were comfy, the air conditioning worked well, and the water heater was great. We’d forgotten a universal adapter, but they lent us one, and there’s an iron you can use. The owners are welcoming and friendly, and it felt like finding a home in Thailand. They can speak English too, so communication was easy even though I don’t speak Thai. I asked them for ideas on places to visit as well. The neighborhood made getting around and finding food easy. There are lots of shops and several 7 Eleven stores nearby, and the hostel is close to a mosque. It’s about a seven-minute walk to Ratchathewi BTS Station, around five minutes by car or bike to Banthat Thong Road, and near Siam Center, MBK Center, and Siam Paragon. Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park is also there if you want to catch the sunset. It was easy to find places to eat, shop, and book Grab or a bike. I stayed four days and three nights and wish I could’ve stayed longer. It was an amazing trip, and I can’t wait to come back to Bangkok. Khob khun mak na kha 🩷🩷

The owners were so sweet and helped me a lot when I got sick. Thank you, auntie and uncle. My room was basic but had everything I needed, including a comfortable chair for working online, and the shared bathroom was clean. I’d give them six stars if I could.
