The celebrity cat deserves five stars. She doesn’t bite and lets you pet her. The staff are friendly and helpful too. I asked for scissors and tape, and they lent them to me with a smile. The sheets and pillow were soft, and the room was spacious. It’d be nice if the shower device were newer, but overall it was a warm, comforting stay.

The rooms are great and the washroom was clean. It’s far from most tourist spots, though MBK is about a 20-minute walk away. There was no staff after 8 pm, which made check-in difficult for me. Free breakfast is provided. Overall, 7/10.

The bedding was clean, the rates reasonable, and the train station is nearby. Staff were welcoming and helpful too, as shown in the staff photo below. The shower facilities could use an update. With 10 beds in a room, noise can be an issue, especially for the four beds by the entrance. Other guests kept slamming the door during peak hours, which was quite disruptive.

A clean, attractive hostel right by a subway station in Bangkok. I liked that they have women-only dorms. It is pretty expensive, though.

I told the staff early when I’d be checking out of the hostel. When I went outside at that time, someone wearing a mask and a fake Rolex was waiting there on a scooter, apparently to scam me.
