The location is good, but I wouldn't want to stay overnight again. The room smelled, and hallway workers were noisy while doing repairs. I could see one of them through the bathroom window from the bed, and the noise kept me from resting for an hour or so. There wasn't any toilet paper when we checked in. We asked for some, but were told they didn't have any.

The staff were very polite and friendly, and I was generally pleased with my monthly stay. The room was good for the price. I appreciated that they let me use another room while they worked on the A/C, but the air-conditioning kept having problems and it took them too long to fix it.

The room was dirty and smelled bad, and the AC was noisy without cooling properly. The receptionist spoke very impolitely to guests, as if we were begging for a room or food. Reception and the waiters or waitresses don't understand English. If you want to avoid a very, very bad experience, I'd recommend staying and eating somewhere other than Benz House.

For about the same price, I'd choose cloud nine lodge just opposite benz house. Here, they asked for a 1000baht deposit for the room keys. The toilet was cramped and stank, and the corridor was narrow and kind of shady. We had a middle room with poor ventilation. Thank goodness we only had to stay one night. You'd be better off elsewhere for this price.

Really bad stay. The air conditioner dripped water, and no one responded when I called for service. People played loud music in a hotel room, but the staff didn't care. The staff were very impolite.
