Best Comfort Residential Hotel

The room had more space than we expected, and we appreciated having a little sink and basic kitchen setup for takeaway meals. The bathroom was clean, and the location was a big part of why we enjoyed staying here. The TV seemed a bit old, but it didn’t matter much since we spent most of our time exploring Bangkok. Breakfast was just toast and coffee, but both were really good. It was a comfortable, good-value stay.

The rooms are a pretty good size, clean, and have a refrigerator. It’s an old, slightly rundown place with some cracks, but for the price it’s hard to beat, and it has everything you need. As long as it’s clean, the age doesn’t bother me. There’s a pool, where I’m sitting now, and friendly staff. There’s also an older doorman or security guard who opens the door whenever you come or go. I think he works about 15 hours a day, so I need to remember to tip him before I leave. Breakfast is free and basic: sausage, eggs, toast, cornflakes, chicken congee, coffee, and orange juice. The location is really good, and you can walk to Koreatown and shopping center 21. If you’re on a budget, or just want to save some money, definitely stay here.

We actually had a great stay. We arrived at 12 after a long flight, and they let us check in then. The rooms are dated, sure, but ours was clean. We really liked the pool, and the gym was quite large. Breakfast is very minimal, but enough to fill you up. You get what you pay for, so I’m not sure why all the negative reviews.

I’m glad I booked this dreadful dive for just one night. The hotel looks exactly like a place that’s had no investment for years or decades, with money only being taken out of it. Given the fantastic location, the owner should be ashamed of what’s being offered to guests. I’d recommend spending a little more and staying at one of the much better hotels nearby.
