There are regular themed evenings, plus lobby activities like karaoke and beer pong. The cleaning happens daily, and the housekeeping staff are incredibly friendly. Everyone on staff was pleasant, attentive, and ready to help, and manager Régie made me feel very welcome. I was worried after reading some bad reviews, but for the price per night, the place is fantastic. It isn’t perfect, but with the location and cost, I think it deserves five stars. People expecting luxury at this price and complaining about its absence have missed the point.

The location is good, and the lady at reception was nice. The rest was pretty bad. The bathrooms and toilets were very dirty, and they’re on a different floor from the rooms. The room didn’t get cleaned often enough. There were no bed curtains, so there was no privacy, and the top bunk was so close to the ceiling you couldn’t sit up properly. The room’s main light was right above my bed, which was a real hassle whenever someone turned it on. The lockers didn’t have locks.

The manager and receptionist were kind from the moment we arrived, and even upgraded our stay without us asking. They seemed to genuinely care, rather than just provide service. Since we were in a new city, their help planning our travel made sure we didn’t feel lost or uncomfortable. What I remember most is how looked after we felt, almost like being at home even though we were miles away. That made the trip special.

The food was really good and the drinks were spot on. There’s a newly opened bar and fun things to do inside the hostel, so there’s something to enjoy even if you stay in. Our rooms were super comfy and surprisingly cool, so we didn’t need the AC or fan. We arrived late at night and were checked in smoothly. We asked, and reception is open 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight. Reggie was especially accommodating and took great care of us. Really good stay, with comfy rooms and helpful staff!
