A warning about the bathroom: the shower floor gets very slippery, so take care. Toiletries are limited to liquid hand soap, body wash, and a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, and the products seemed pretty cheap. Better quality or a few more options would be a welcome improvement. The room itself was quiet, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, with shelves, a sofa, and enough room for big suitcases. They provide two bottles of water and two cup noodles each day, left in a paper bag by the door on longer stays, and there are indoor slippers too. Laundry is available with two top-load washers for 40 THB and a dryer for 10 THB. The front desk can change notes into 10 THB coins. An airport shuttle to BKK costs 200 THB, while DMK requires taking a taxi. At Home Cafe & Eatery is right next door, which is handy.

After 24 hours of flying, it was such a relief to find a friendly reception and a comfortable bed waiting for us. The booked transfer met us, and we were at the hotel in about 15 minutes. We slept a full night, then had a tasty meal at the cute restaurant attached to the hotel. We were glad not to have to look around for food after the flight. The shuttle took us back to the airport in the morning. I’d definitely book again for a stopover.

For a work trip, I stayed one night and found the room clean, well-equipped, and good value. The staff spoke English well and were very welcoming. Breakfast at the cafe was affordable, too. You can walk to a market, supermarket, shops, cafes, and a mall. Suvannabhuni airport is about 15 minutes away by car. Recommended.

This is our go-to when we’re passing through BKK. It’s about 10 minutes from the airport, with a paid shuttle at THB 100 per room each way. At arrivals, head to the mezzanine muster point. The restaurants in the building are excellent. The rooms are on the small side but clean and practical. Comfortable beds, a bathroom that does the job, strong air-con, and free Wi-Fi that worked well. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and check-in and checkout were easy. There’s an outdoor pool inside the building, plus an elevator. Everything worked well.
