The rooms are only around 15 sqm, and they looked much nicer in the photos than they did in person. Cleanliness also wasn't great, and the rooms could use a much better clean. It's a very basic B&B feel, especially if you're used to European standards. Some rooms have just one window looking out at the glass elevator, so there's practically no privacy, and the noise makes it hard to sleep properly. A “standard room” means a bunk bed, which isn't made clear beforehand. For a single night when you only need somewhere to sleep, it might do. If you book, I'd choose a higher-category room.

I've stayed here quite a few times. It's comfortable and well located, with helpful, kind staff. There's good street food and shopping nearby. The rooms are clean and modern, though a little small.

I liked having a microwave, filtered water, and a decent coffee spot, Brew 98, right onsite. The Chocolate Box : Mint hotel mixes efficient rooms with co-working space. I tried both the Superior room, which was very small, and the Standard, a small room with bunks. The discount I got on agoda made it okay value.

We made ourselves a little place to relax on the rooftop overnight. The rooms looked nice and were clean, with a good shower and airco. There's a market and 7/11 just around the corner, plus an amazing koffie bar in the building. I'd definitely stay again, though you'll need to take a grab to reach the city center.

The shared area downstairs has a big dining table, microwave, and basic utensils, and there's a 7-11 just a few steps away. I also made use of the free washing machine on the rooftop, where you can wash and dry your clothes. My room was simple but comfortable during my five-night stay. I usually walked to Saint Louis BTS station to take the train. The gate closes at 6 p.m., so keep your key with you. It can take a bit of looking to find the property at first, but it's actually close to a main road and the morning market, a nice place to get breakfast. I was very happy here and would gladly come back.
