We booked two rooms with breakfast and asked for early check-in. The day before we arrived, we called to confirm and were quoted 500 THB per room, which we agreed to pay. When we called again on arrival day, the price had jumped to 700 THB, less than 24 hours later. Asked why, we got a vague answer about “high season.” If that was the reason, why hadn’t they mentioned it the night before? The receptionist was rude, irritated, and dismissive, like we were bothering her. She brushed us off with, “If you don’t want it, come check in at 14:00.” No eye contact or courtesy. We reported it to the manager, who apologized and admitted the staff weren’t properly trained, then assured us the rooms would be ready at 14:00. We came back at 14:10. The same receptionist incorrectly said breakfast wasn’t included, despite our booking being for a breakfast plan. Again, no effort or professionalism. And although we’d been promised both rooms at 14:00, they weren’t ready. The manager then said 14:20, but we couldn’t get in until around 14:30. This went well beyond simple mistakes. The miscommunication, attitude, and lack of professionalism were unbelievable. Probably the worst hotel experience I’ve had. This was definitely my last visit.
