Ekanake Hostel

The owner was so helpful when I asked for information. He went and checked it for me, then followed up to make sure I got the right answer instead of just leaving a note on the table like some places do. The place is clean and everything works. Each bed has curtains, a light, and a plug, so you get some privacy. The toilets and showers are separate and very clean. I also enjoyed sitting in the cozy chairs at the coffee shop, which has lots of coffee and drink options that taste great. It's close to hospitals, with a bus stop for downtown or the sky train. Thanks for the warm hospitality.

The staff are friendly, and the bathrooms and toilets were clean and nice. You can get a small coffee drink for breakfast at the reception, which shares space with the coffee shop. The location is in town, close to attractions, and the room has air conditioning all day. There was no laundry service or towel, and the bed and blanket were only okay for sleeping.

I needed a place for one night before an early train from Thon Buri to Kanchanaburi. The facilities looked fairly new and were clean, and check-in, even early, and checkout were fast and easy. The shower stalls had nowhere to keep anything dry while bathing. I also found no toilet paper in the bathroom, and there was no soap or way to dry my hands at the sinks.

The hostel cancelled my confirmed Agoda reservation when I arrived. Just ridiculous!
