Gems Park Don Mueang

Across the street, Lotus Laksi has a two-storey shopping center with a big Lotus supermarket, an air-conditioned food court, banks, and restaurants. You’ll want the AC to eat comfortably. There’s also free parking on the premises. I stayed here a few times while living in Pattaya and visiting. The rooms were clean, a decent size, and good value. Staff were friendly and helpful, though not everyone understands English. Best Western Nada, 300m away, costs double or more. The hotel is just off a side alley, with BTS Phahon Yothin 59 right there. The city isn’t too far, and the BTS ride to Sathorn takes 45 minutes.

I paid 120 Baht from the airport, and for what this hotel costs, it’s a great deal. The place was surprisingly clean, the staff were really friendly, and the location is good. Just remember to bring your own shampoo, body wash, and hair dryer. I’ll definitely come back.

It’s clean and really comfortable, though the washroom is a little narrow. They also have a universal adapter, so there’s no need to worry about charging your gadgets.

Very clean, and the staff are friendly. It’s a good option for a short stay when you need to catch a flight from DMK, with a 7/11 next door. Don Meuang is close by taxi, but the airport entrance is on the opposite side, so allow extra time in rush hour.
