We liked it so much we stayed for a full week. The rooms are clean and nicely put together, and the owner was very helpful. It’s a calm area, but just a short walk takes you to the busy heart of Chinatown. Laundry facilities are available too.

They told me they were full as soon as I arrived. I showed them my Booking.com reservation, and they apologized and said it was Booking.com’s fault and I’d have to sort it out myself. Booking.com later said the property had set things up incorrectly. I had to find another place, and I still haven’t got my refund. On top of the taxi fare, I spent two hours trying to get them to find a solution. They left me stranded. One star doesn’t cover it. Never again, and don’t book this hostel.

The air-conditioned rooms were comfortable, and the woman there was kind and kept everything impeccably clean. It’s a phenomenal base for exploring Chinatown’s winding streets.

Chinatown is less than a five-minute walk away, and the location is excellent.
