Grand Business Inn

The breakfast was really good, though it took a little time. We were on a busy street with lots of bars, restaurants, and 7/11 nearby. The room was spacious, with firm beds and leather mattresses. The latex pillows came with a third, thicker one in the closet. Our first room on the second floor was dark and dusty. After the water heater broke, we asked to move, and the next room was much brighter and cleaner. Room service is available 24 hours. Housekeeping also leaves water and toilet paper at your door even when the do not disturb sign is up.

Nana BTS station is just a few hundred steps away, and the front door attendant was helpful. I was late getting my laundry to the front desk before leaving, so he walked with me a couple hundred metres to an express laundry service. The cleaning ladies were great too, so leave them a tip for good service. They can also give you free bottled water if you ask. I didn't use the safe, though you can leave valuables like passports at the front desk. I took a chance on this place and was glad I did. I arrived around midday and thought I'd have to leave my bags until check-in, but they took me straight to my room on the eighth floor, which I think was the top floor I requested. The friendly woman gave me useful advice about the room and hotel amenities. I stayed four nights, and the price was very low for the location and amenities. The in-house restaurant served delicious food at some of the best prices around, with great service and 24/7 hours. The air conditioning worked well, the room was quiet, and there were no odd smells. The bed was semi-firm and comfortable. The shower pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. Its head was mounted low, but it could be removed and used by hand. There's a window in the bathroom that only helps let steam out, and another over the bed that opened to a nice city view. There were no window screens, but I never noticed bugs coming in. The TV isn't smart, so there's no streaming, though it has English channels. I didn't use it, Bangkok is better than TV anyway.

The rooms are old and the furniture is worn, but at this price it's still good value. It was incredibly cheap compared with hotels around Soi 11. There's a restaurant right by reception, the staff were polite and welcoming, and Wi-Fi was decent. Unlike many hotels, they didn't ask for a deposit.

I stayed at Grand Business Inn in February 2026. The location worked especially well for me since I mostly use the BTS when visiting Bangkok. Nana station's nearest entrance and exit is around 50 meters from the hotel, and Sukhumvit Soi 11 has plenty of restaurants, food vendors, and convenience stores to explore. Kinnaree, the 24-hour restaurant beside the lobby, is handy for a quick meal anytime. The staff were friendly whenever I saw them around the property, and housekeeping was consistently well done throughout my stay.
