Hotel Tranz

We really appreciated how friendly everyone at the hotel was. The reception team always greeted us, and Oak was especially helpful: he carried our bags all the way to the airport rail station and helped us buy tickets. We later found out there’s a lift down to the basement, so we could have avoided carrying luggage on the entrance stairs. We also went to let’s relax spa next door almost every day, but only learned on our last day that the receptionist could arrange 10% off some services. A reminder at check-in would’ve been nice. The location is a big plus. Hotel tranz is right beside phaya thai BTS, with a direct train to the airport, and the nearby BTS makes getting around easy. There’s a lift and escalator from the station, plus a 7-11, let’s relax spa, and factory coffee within walking distance. Breakfast was included with our website booking. It usually tasted pretty good and had both local and Western options. We chose the Executive 3 guests (2 twns + 1 sofa bed) with bathtub room because we all wanted our own beds, and that room type wasn’t available without a tub. The tub setup was the main problem. Its wide marble surround lets water collect between the tub and wall, then spill onto the floor because there’s nowhere for it to drain. The thick marble also makes getting in and out awkward, and there’s no rail or non-slip mat, which feels like a fall risk. Apart from that, we had no other complaints and would like to return. I hope they renovate the tub area or replace it with a regular shower.
