The room itself was clean and fine for the price, though the water pressure was weak. We left it in good condition after sleeping there for only five hours, but the towel dispute was awful. A small cream mark on a towel rinsed off with regular tap water, yet the employee said the towel couldn’t be used anymore and tried to charge us for it. Towels can get marks during use, and this one washed clean. After I rinsed it myself without soap, the employee dried it with a hairdryer at reception to check whether there was cream on it, then said the towel was no longer soft enough. Be prepared, apparently, to be charged for a lip mark on a mug you drank from, too.

Basic but nice place to stay. The room was cleaned every day, was pleasant to return to after a long day, and the air conditioning worked. The only problem was that the TV only had Thai channels. Great location, with Si Phraya ferry about eight minutes behind the accommodation, taking you to Icon Siam, the reclining Buddha, and other places.

It’s quiet, clean, cheap, and has the basic things you need, with staff who are happy to help. The old furnishings give the place a distinctive antique look. The location is easy to get around from, with most essentials and spots within walking distance. Internet is weak, and there aren’t many outlets, so charging things can be awkward.

They took 500 baht from my 1,000-baht deposit over towels they called “dirty.” Watch out, this feels like a scam.
