There was a lizard in my room as soon as I checked in. When I asked to move, staff first offered me a smoking room, even though I’d clearly said I don’t smoke and have a severe allergy. After a long, frustrating argument, I was finally given a room that was only somewhat acceptable. The rest of the property was in very poor shape. My room was visibly dirty, with broken flooring and ceilings, and a bad smell coming from the windows and curtains. The bathroom felt unhygienic, with mosquitoes and cockroaches easy to spot. The towels and linens were old and stained. When I raised these problems, staff were dismissive and kept saying they were “just working here,” then sent me to a manager who was either unavailable or no more helpful when present. There was no real accountability or basic care for guests. This was one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve had, and I’d warn others to think carefully before staying here.

The security guard and front desk staff were friendly and gave good service, which was a bright spot. The rest of the stay was a letdown. I booked through Agoda after seeing clean, appealing room photos for a little over 1,000 THB a night. I checked in late, so I didn’t notice much at first, but the place looked old. The hallway was dark, poorly lit, and felt dirty and a bit unsafe. My room was gloomy, worn, and had a strong musty smell. It didn’t look like the pictures at all. The towels were torn and looked unclean, so I wasn’t sure they were usable and felt anxious about staying even one night. There wasn’t any soap either. I had brought my own, so it wasn’t a big problem for me, though even budget hotels at 500-700 THB usually provide basic amenities. For around 1,000 THB, I expected better value than this, especially compared with hotels in the same price range or a little more. The whole property felt outdated and poorly maintained. I wasn’t expecting luxury, just a clean, comfortable room.

The staff were lovely, and BTS Nana is about 500 meters away. Still, the stay was disappointing. The hallway carpet was badly stained, the ceiling panels were damaged, and there was a musty smell along the corridor. The room felt old, unclean, and scary, and the air conditioning didn’t work well. Everything looked poorly maintained, with no sign of renovation. I can’t recommend this place.

I booked four nights and had no choice but to stick it out, which made the stay even worse. The first room had mold all over the walls and was impossible to stay in. I requested a change, but the second room was only a little better and still smelled strongly bad. The hotel is extremely musty, and the towels had visible stains and looked dirty. For what it costs, this is completely unacceptable. The place needs serious work on cleanliness and maintenance.
