Les Fleurs Bangkok Hostel

The room was small and perhaps a little overpriced, but I liked this hostel overall. It’s downtown Bangkok, clean, and has a nice reception staff. The bed and bathroom were clean too, and there’s a shared space where you can cook.

I spent three nights in the four-bed dorm and really enjoyed it. Each bed is fully enclosed by curtains, the lockers are roomy and secure, and the AC is strong. Even with the room full, it smelled neutral and pleasant, and the common areas were all clean. The owner is so sweet and clearly keeps everything tidy. It’s in a lovely neighborhood, with the SkyTrain only about a ten-minute walk away for exploring elsewhere. The private rooms looked spacious and nice, so I’d happily pay extra for one next time. One of my favorite hostels in Southeast Asia.

The central location made a handy base for city excursions, and I enjoyed seeing some of the nearby architecture and park. I stayed in two different room types, and both were comfortable, with warm lighting. Everything was clean and such good value for budget travel. The staff were lovely, welcoming, and positive.

The market, shopping mall, BTS, and MRT are all within walking distance, which is a real plus. Le Fleurs also feels so homey. Walking in, I found a cozy living room and a small kitchen with free drinking water and a thoughtful reminder to stay hydrated. The room fit four people comfortably and the AC kept it cool. The bathroom was surprisingly large for a hostel, almost hotel quality. I’ll definitely stay again.
