They kindly granted my request to decorate the room for our anniversary, and the welcome drink was really good. We had a Superior King Room with plenty of space, including room to open our luggage, and it came with bathrobes, toiletries and towels. The hotel is close to BTS Victory Monument, with lots of neighborhood food stalls and 711s nearby. When you ask to have the room made up, they’ll refill the toiletries and bottled water and replace the towels.

Breakfast was included and worth having, it gave us the energy we needed before heading out. We also tried the dinner buffet, using the 70 baht discount per person. The staff were kind, especially the housekeepers on the fifth floor. I’d seen the hotel in a YouTube vlog, so we decided to book it and have no regrets. It’s close to the BTS, easy to get a Grab from, and very near King Power Outlet/Duty free. There are several 7/11 stores and malls within walking distance, plus plenty of food stalls with really delicious food. We felt safe outside too. We’ll book here again when we return to Thailand, hopefully when it’s cooler.

We celebrated my father’s birthday here, and the staff were attentive and made it feel special. The food selection was impressive, with fresh seafood and a live cooking station, and everything was top-notch. Dad especially enjoyed the dessert spread. A great choice for a family gathering.

The neighborhood was quiet, with a few street food places nearby that stay open late. BTS Victory Monument Station is within walking distance. Everyone on staff was friendly, and the buffet breakfast had tasty choices. We had a lovely stay and would be happy to return on our next trip.

Sornchattr.K (Yammy) and her team went above and beyond for my mother’s upcoming birthday, decorating our room beautifully and surprising us with a complimentary cake. We were speechless at the effort. The kitchen team was polite and humble too, especially the senior gentleman waiter. Dinner buffet food was fresh, came quickly and was very reasonably priced. My parents and I stayed at the Picnic Hotel while visiting Rama and Chula Hospitals, and it was a lovely place to rest after our busy days. It’s conveniently located for the nearby park and King Power Mall. I love 7-11 and the small Lotus supermarket, and we even found souvenirs at the local 7-11 near the hotel. The Skytrain is a bit of a walk in Bangkok’s heat, so I’d suggest using Grab for transport. Maybe the suitcase and May 2025 heat made the walk feel longer. The whole staff helped make our time exploring Bangkok pleasant. Thanks, Picnic Hotel, for the hospitality and excellent service. Happy New Year, and I hope you all have an amazing 2026!
