LUXX Langsuan Hotel

The design made a great impression on me: tasteful and carefully thought out without feeling overdone. The staff were kind, professional, and ready to help throughout my stay. I had such a good time here that I’m already hoping to return.

The staff were the highlight for me, always friendly, kind, and happy to help. My room was beautifully put together, with a big bed and a spacious bathroom. I also appreciated the wood floor since I have nasal allergies, and the bathtub was a lovely bonus. I’d happily come back.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and they apologized when things went wrong. Still, management declined my request for a refund for the final two nights, and I can’t recommend the hotel given the problems I had. The first room’s shower had only a small glass panel and no curtain, so water splashed across the bathroom floor. I had to wipe it up to avoid slipping. The air conditioning swung between freezing and very hot. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I wore extra clothes to bed, since the cold felt easier to handle than Bangkok’s humid heat. After I returned from Phuket, I got another room, but the electricity went out three times at 4 a.m. over two nights. I woke up sweating with the A/C off, then had to reset the breaker in the dark after seeing how staff did it. Getting around also wasn’t ideal. It’s not close to train stations or street food, and most nearby restaurants are more expensive because they’re in the fancier malls. The driveway is very narrow, and every Grab I ordered struggled to make a U-turn out of it, even when I had my own car. Breakfast was instant cup noodles, instant congee, and standard coffee and tea. If the complimentary breakfast is why you’re considering staying here, I’d suggest the morning markets instead.

We really enjoyed our corner room, especially those spectacular views. The hotel also kindly decorated it for our honeymoon, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Such a lovely hidden gem. Thanks so much for having us! :)
