M2 de Bangkok

The staff have always been lovely, and they speak good English if you need help. I’ve stayed here several times over the past few years, usually for 2-4 nights, and I’ve enjoyed each visit. The hotel is near Central Ladprao, with Chatuchak Market about 10-15 minutes away by taxi. You can get around Bangkok via the highways or local roads, and there are several restaurants nearby, including Eat Am Are about 100 meters away. The location works well depending on where you need to go. Traffic is right outside, but the windows block most of the noise. The toilet and shower work well. Rooms are okay, though they need renovation, especially the carpets under and around the bed. The air-conditioning should be cleaned more often, since the room smelled of dust and smoke while I was sleeping. It feels like the rooms haven’t been freshened up in a long time. The restaurant could offer a few more Western dishes to suit all guests.

We had a lovely stay as a family of three. The room was clean and looked after, and the staff were kind and happy to help. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. 💪🏼

The reception never answered our calls or requests for help, which made an uncomfortable stay even worse. Several basics were missing: there was no buffet breakfast, toothbrush or toothpaste, bathrobes, or slippers. The bathtub had been advertised, but there wasn’t one. It left me feeling that guest comfort and service weren’t a priority. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the hotel makes serious improvements.

The road noise was bad, and the location felt awful, far from everything. Everywhere around was dirty and dusty, and the curtains had such a strong dirt and dust smell that I couldn't sleep. Things were dirty and broken too. I really wouldn't recommend this hotel, even for free.
