Metro Link Ratchada Hotel

The location was okay, close to the MRT with lots of restaurants nearby, but getting settled was a hassle. The map took us to one building, then we had to drag our luggage somewhere else to check in, return again, and still couldn’t find our room. It was hot. The deposit is 1,000 baht in cash only, which I hadn’t noticed when booking. We asked about other ways to pay and were told it had to be cash, so be prepared, since lots of people don’t carry much cash now. The older female staff member was rude and didn’t explain anything about the room. She just asked, “You know where it is by the stairs, right?” How would someone who doesn’t work there know? We didn’t make a fuss and thought it was the building we’d gone to earlier, but we couldn’t find it. When we came back, she led us there looking annoyed and gestured as if to say, “Here’s your room.” The other staff, like the housekeeper, were very polite. The blankets were dirty, and there was no soundproofing. We could clearly hear the person in the next room spitting every morning. The water heater kept switching on and off, then stopped working altogether on our last day, so a technician had to come fix it.

It’s near MRT Sutthisan station, but I couldn’t find the place on my first visit because Google Maps shows the wrong location. I asked for the map location to be corrected. The actual entrance is at the end of a narrow alley opposite the Ratchada Point Hotel. Check-in takes place inside the Ratchada Point Hotel.
