The rooms are roomy and clean, and the hotel itself is big and very well kept. It’s within walking distance of an MRT station. No balcony access, though, which is the one drawback.

The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced, and the hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport. I’ve stayed here many times and keep recommending it for its quiet spot at the end of a dead-end road, backing onto a canal. Room service is the weak point, though. It can be very hit and miss, which is why I can’t give it five stars.

The receptionist didn’t seem service minded and treated guests with very little courtesy. The building looks fine from outside, but inside it feels very old and nearly worn out.

There’s plenty of parking space, and meals are served at a restaurant across the parking bay. Reception is open 24 hours, and the one masseur is good. It’s a cosy place tucked away in Minburi. I’ve stayed several times, including for a week this time, though the cleaners missed our room.

We’ve used Orange car Phuket twice now, and both times we were very happy with it. At the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were lovely and clean. The restaurant had delicious Thai food and good French cuisine. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.
