NANA Hotel Bangkok

The breakfast was a letdown, with bacon so badly burnt it was inedible. During my latest stay, one of the lifts was out of order, leaving the whole hotel with just one. From my fourth-floor room, even going out could take ages because the lift often went up to a higher floor before heading down. A week later I came back to Bangkok and stayed at another hotel on the same road for the same price. The service and facilities there were much better. After this, I wouldn't stay at Nana hotel again.

Good breakfast, and I enjoyed the hotel. I hadn't realized before arriving that it sits right beside nana plaza, described as the world's largest adult playground. Even so, it was a great place to stay, with a good location, especially for the train stations.

The location is good, but the stained, dirty carpets and cockroach problem made this a very poor choice. Roaches had infested my room and got into my luggage. Online, it had looked like a reasonable option for the price. Service was poor, though not terrible.

This is a two-star place with a lot of history, right in the center. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is great. I liked having the lobby chairs and sofas to sit in, too. The staff are great once you learn how things work. Some of the people at the desk have been there over 30 years and still remember you when you check in. I can't find anything bad to say about the place, just behave yourself! It's HQ for old hands.
