Naga Residence

The room at Naga Residence was spacious, clean, and well cared for, with what we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The reception team also made a lovely first impression, greeting us with warm smiles and a very welcoming attitude. Their service stood out. I had a wonderful stay from beginning to end and would recommend Naga Residence to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

For the price, this is a really good deal, especially in such a handy spot near the river. It’s easy to reach some of Bangkok’s best-known places from here, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room had a fridge, free drinking water, and enough outlets for chargers. Wi-Fi is free, too. The one thing I had to adjust to was the bed, since the mattress felt quite firm by American standards. The rooms are a reasonable size, and the price is incredibly low for this location.

We’d stay again, probably just ordering food in. The hotel itself is excellent for the price, and it’s hard to find many places with a king bed and a kitchen. Our room was very clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Getting around is convenient enough, with the BTS nearby and a boat pier across the bridge. The ferry can also get you across the river, but the wait is too long. It took us two hours to get there from BKK. Food nearby was a letdown. The street food around the hotel wasn’t good, and iconsiam felt like a tourist trap. Better food and entertainment are across the river, so I’d take two stars off for the location.

With two 7/11s less than a minute away, restaurants nearby, and Icon Siam within walking distance, the location worked really well for us. The room was spotless, and the staff were among the friendliest we’ve met on all our trips to Thailand. Service and quality felt easily on par with a 5 star hotel. This is definitely going to be our go-to hotel in Bangkok.
