For the price, the hostel and beds are decent, but I slept terribly. The dorm bathroom has a louvered door that isn’t solid, so air passes through. When someone was sick, the sounds and smell carried into the room and lingered. I was woken by mosquitoes around 1 a.m., diarrhea noises at 3, and vomiting at 7. Those sounds and smells really need to be separated from the sleeping area.

The male staff were friendly and helpful, but I didn’t find the female staff that way. I stayed three days, and the service didn’t feel worth the price, which also changed a lot. The dorm beds felt flimsy and shook whenever someone moved. Lots of people come here to buy and smoke marijuana, and some rooms get pretty messy. To me, the rooms are only good for a trial stay.

It’s a quiet, low-key hostel, so it worked really well when we wanted somewhere to wind down. The staff were kind and ready to help, and we enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop at the end of the day. Downstairs, there’s a pool table and a projector room too. We had a couple of bookings, one in a dorm and one in a private room. Both were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.
