Noursabah Bed Bangkok

A lovely local-feeling boutique hotel tucked down a small Bangkok lane. The staff were great, and the cleanliness was on another level. I’ll come back.

The room’s on the small side, but the bed is comfy and the shower was clean. It’s a simple, clean hotel on a halal street, which makes it an easy, reassuring option for Muslim visitors looking for halal food. There’s a mosque about 200m away, worth visiting on Fridays when youngsters enjoy the sermon and prayers in Thai and Malay. The little restaurant has a microwave for heating food. Noodles, water, yoghurt, bread, butter, jam and cereal are free to take at any time of day, not just at breakfast.

All the basics are kept immaculate, and there’s a lift to every floor. The beds are super comfy, the linen is good quality, and the air con is quiet. Reception staff are happy to help arrange taxis or trips. This small hotel sits right in the middle of the Muslim food district. Its little breakfast room has cereal, bread, noodles, milk and a very good bean-to-cup coffee machine, all free and available 24 hours. Across the nearest main road there’s a night market, plus plenty of street food, including non-Muslim options, all an easy walk away.

I’d happily stay here again. The double room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean, with a super-comfy bed and pillows. The air conditioning and bathroom were both fine, and it was a pleasure coming back to sleep here. Restaurants line the street right outside in this Muslim neighbourhood, but the hotel itself stays quiet and welcoming. The staff were friendly, including with my kid. They set aside a room with a couple of tables and complimentary coffee, tea, water, snacks, yoghurt, cereals, bread and butter for guests to enjoy all day. Good value for money.
