Oyo 753 Atnest Hostel

I stayed in May 2024. The single rooms are affordable, but I wouldn't stay again. The room and showers were clean and caused me no problems. Just note that the showers are on the 3rd floor, so there's more stair climbing. There are no staff on site when the cafe is closed, which is weekdays 7am-4pm. I arrived around 6pm on a Sunday and had to check myself in by taking a key from a box. Coming through the back door, it was dark, with stairs and no lift. My room was on the 4th floor, five storeys up with luggage, and I had to switch on the lights on each floor myself. When I reached the room, it had no blanket, towels, or pillowcase. I messaged them on Line and they replied quickly, offering to move me, which meant climbing down two floors again. They could have managed this better by giving me the second room from the start.

It's a zero-waste hostel, which felt unusual for Thailand. Soap and shampoo are provided in the showers, there's a water cooler, and a small kitchen if you need it. The little cafe downstairs serves interesting coffees with metal straws. Staff speak English. We had a private room with a shared bathroom, and everything was very clean with no trouble getting access to the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay!

The only toilet, on the third floor, was very clean. The bedroom was small but clean too. The building is in a great location, just off the main road, though it was still quite noisy.

The owners were really nice and informative. I traveled around Thailand for a month, and this was the nicest hostel I stayed in. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm back. Highly recommend!
