Paragon One Residence

We spent three hectic days in Bangkok, and it was always a pleasure to come back here in the evenings. The street the hotel is on is secluded and quiet, though the location is good. Staff were helpful, the Wi-Fi was decent, and there was free coffee and tea during the day. I was very pleased with the place and gave it five stars because it was inexpensive for the service.

The room had a big fridge and two complimentary waters. Towels and shampoo and shower gel were provided, and the air conditioning was decent. Rooms are modern and clean. Staff are friendly and can arrange taxis to the airport or wherever you need to go.

I wouldn’t recommend it. The bed was nice and clean, but the room was noisy at night, and you could hear people walking and talking in the corridor. It left me feeling like someone could come in at any moment. There was no view from the window at all, and it was hard to tell night from day. There are holes in the window big enough for bugs, maybe even a rat, so you don’t know what you might find in the bathroom in the morning.

For a little more than an average Bangkok hostel, this is a good place to stay for a while. The location is amazing, and that’s the main reason to book. Rooms are clean, air-conditioned, and cleaned daily, and the staff are helpful. Reception is open 24 hours. The view was, well, a brick wall, and the mattresses were very hard. Still, the stay was good.
