Peace Land Khaosan

We'd definitely return. The staff went out of their way to help us with everything, and the reception girls were great. Our room was cleaned every day as we'd requested. Guests can use the pool, with clean towels always available nearby. There's a 7/11 within walking distance. 10/10 ⭐

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a good range of fresh, tasty, well-prepared choices to start the day. Staying near Khaosan Road was convenient and enjoyable. You're right in the middle of the area, but it can still feel peaceful when you want it to. Markets and nightlife are walkable, and a 7-Eleven is just a few steps away. It's good value, easy to get around from, and comfortable. If you're staying around Khaosan Road, this is worth choosing.

Update: the hot water is fixed now, which is a big improvement, so I've raised my rating. The WiFi still only works sometimes, and the bathroom floor doesn't slope toward the drain, so shower water floods the floor. The AC leaks a little, the mattresses aren't comfortable, and the breakfast buffet isn't good. My unit has a “living room,” but it's basically unfurnished. I asked every day about the hot water and WiFi because I wanted to shower and get work done. The water has now been fixed.

The front desk ladies were amazing. They helped me rearrange my flight tickets after I'd booked them with the wrong information, and I'm especially grateful for that. The hotel is close to lots of things to do, but quiet at night. I'd recommend it if you're planning to stay in Bangkok.
