Ratchada Point Hotel

When I checked in, the staff said extending my stay would be easy. But at 12 PM today, I woke up to the electricity being turned off, and the room got stuffy when the air conditioner stopped. Checkout was at 12, so that part would have been fine, but they then flatly refused to let me extend, despite what they’d told me earlier. I packed and went down to check out. Then they wouldn’t return my deposit, even though I hadn’t damaged any furniture, broken anything, or broken any rules. They just didn’t want to give it back, which is unfortunately a common problem in Thailand. After a long discussion they finally returned it. The location is good, but the staff service was terrible and put me off ever coming back.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough to sleep well, and the air conditioning worked really well.

The room was clean, and they gave us a bottle of water each day. Staff service was just okay. The hotel is an easy walk from the MRT station, passing a wet market with mouthwatering street food on the way.

We planned to stay 5 days and 4 nights, but left after the first night. We arrived around 3 pm, and the front desk man, who looked to be in his 30s or 40s, was unprofessional and kept yelling. In our room, cockroaches were running everywhere, even along the sides of the king-size bed. We asked staff for help right away and were ignored. We checked out the next day because nearby places were much better. The only redeeming thing was the location, just a 1-2 minute walk from the subway. The service and conditions made the stay a nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
