We needed a place for one night in Bangkok and chose Rico again, since we’ve stayed there many times. It’s clean, the beds are comfortable, and it’s away from traffic noise while still being near restaurants. Parking was convenient too, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked for two adults and our 12-year-old, so we were surprised when the staff wanted 200 baht for an extra towel for our child. The reservation clearly showed three guests, and we expected the room to have enough basic amenities for all of us. They wouldn’t provide the towel without the extra charge. That inflexible response left us disappointed. We were paying customers and expected a more understanding, service-minded approach.

The rooms are cozy and a good size, and the service is friendly. It’s a quiet, private place for the price. The hotel is in the Chantrakasrm area, not far from Ratchadapisek Road, with a convenience store nearby and a cafe across the street. Recommended.

Rooms are clean, neat and nice, with TV channels available. The place feels cozy and mostly quiet, and access is secure, with a card needed for doors and the floors. It’s far from public transport, though, so if you don’t mind using the MRT or BTS, this is a good ppace.
