It’s affordable, with a spacious room and polite, helpful staff. The hotel is tucked away on a small street, which can make it a little hard to find, but it’s peaceful if that’s what you’re after. There’s a 7 Eleven about a 4-minute walk away and Victory Monument BTS is around 8 minutes on foot. It might be a hidden gem.

There’s a lovely park right in front if you want to go jogging, and breakfast has a great range of options. Although the hotel is centrally located near Victory Monument and Pullman King Power, it isn’t noisy. At least four 7/11 outlets, Lotus Express, and a laundromat are close by. The room is spacious too.

The bed was hard to sleep on because the mattress was broken, and I could constantly hear noisy pipes. There was also a bleach smell. The rooms were only in average condition. I chose the hotel partly because the room had a balcony, but there was no furniture on it and smoking there was prohibited, with a 2,000 baht fine. I don't understand what the balcony is for. Staff were polite at check-in, but their English was very poor. When I asked to change rooms, one employee acted as if they didn't understand me. The whole experience left a terrible impression. Hospitality should start with a smile and a welcome, not a list of bans and fines. I hope the hotel improves, though I won't be back.

We stayed for two days at the end of our tour and got a welcome drink when we arrived. The staff were friendly. I liked how easy it was to walk to other places or get a tuk-tuk. The neighborhood was peaceful to walk around, with lots of good food, cafes, and shops nearby, so don’t miss those.
