Saffron Hill Minburi

It’s out in a rural area, but that makes it a nice option if you want quiet. Our group accidentally booked a room for the day before we needed it, and the host was happy to accommodate us at no charge. The rooms were spacious and clean, with nice beds and a very roomy bathroom. I’d come back, 4.5/5.

The cafe has a really relaxing vibe, and the food is good with great coffee. The hotel itself is clean, spacious and quiet.

The room was roomy, the AC worked well, and the bathroom was large with strong water pressure. A towel rack would have helped, since it was inconvenient not having anywhere to hang the towels. I stayed one night in room 212. The entrance is a little narrow, but Google Maps makes it easy to find, and there’s plenty of parking. The hotel has a bit of a senior residence feel, but it’s very quiet and peaceful, great for relaxing.

My room on the fifth floor had a beautiful view, and the staff were kind and friendly, with no complaints about their service. The room was cute, clean and basic for the price, with a kettle, mini fridge, TV that didn’t work too well, dental kit and towels. The bathroom was small and had a funny smell. Its drain wasn’t great either, so if you left the water running for long, you’d end up standing in a pool. I was traveling for work and barely spent time in the room, so it was fine for a couple of nights. The hotel is a little off the main road, and the empty, poorly lit street leading to it can look a bit scary at night.
