We came back to Silom Lofts for a second visit, and we’ll be back again. The loft felt cozy and comfortable, with room for everything we needed: a spacious living room and kitchen, cookware, tableware, utensils, basic appliances, and a hair dryer. One of us worked remotely without any trouble. We also loved the balcony and the view. The location made it easy to find food, from street stalls to fine dining. Lalaisap Market is just a few steps away, and Sala Daeng, Lumphini Park, and the new Dusit Central Park are a short walk. Staff aren’t at a reception desk you pass when coming and going, but they were kind and quick to help. We could call by dialing 0 or find them on the second floor. Gig was especially sweet and even remembered us from last time. Thanks as well to both security guards, especially the young man who was helpful and welcoming from day one.

The one bright spot was the older guard, who was kind. Otherwise the service was really poor. There was no information in the room, not even a front desk number for the phone, and the front desk staff were always away. There wasn’t a hair dryer, either, and the shower had no hot water. For the price, I don’t think it’s worth staying here.

There’s a lot of food nearby, including on Convent st and at the weekday market beside silom trinity. The two-bedroom setup has two toilets, a living room, and a usable kitchen, so five or more people can sleep here. That’s where the value is. I was there in 2022, and some sheets were old and could smell a bit, though it wasn’t too bad.

The flats are clean, roomy, and well equipped, and the location puts you close to the metro and just about everything else. There’s also a nice coffee place in the building for breakfast. A comfortable, pleasant place to stay in Bangkok.

The location is a great starting point for exploring Bangkok, and the pool is nice. Rooms were clean, though I found some mold in the bathroom. The place has worn down over the years and could use a little care here and there, but it’s still good value. Service was fine, though check-in was a bit rough.
