Silom Village Inn

The facility was in very poor shape, and there’s no Wi-Fi connection in the rooms. You have to go down to the lobby to get online. The receptionist was so rude, and not helpful or friendly at all. We stayed just two hours before canceling the booking and asking for a refund. There was no hospitality here.

For the price, the location is okay, and the reception staff were welcoming and could manage English. It was all right overall, though it could use some renovation here and there.

We keep coming back to this hotel in Bangkok. It’s near the jewelry market, a great food street, and the Indian temple is only minutes away. The rooms are spacious and very clean, though a little old. I stayed in the back section and liked it there. Service was good, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Glad they made it through COVID.

The location is good, but the hotel is old and poorly lit, and the internet was bad. It feels like stepping back into the 1970s. The reception is in a separate building from the rooms, and I wouldn’t choose it for a family or vacation.
