Summit Pavilion

The room was big but worn out, and needs paint and repairs. There was pigeon poop all over the large balcony, and with no furniture it wasn’t usable. The bathroom was small. The pool looked clean, while the buffet was only okay. Check-in staff seemed a bit lost, and the place felt overpriced. Upkeep and maintenance seemed lacking, as I’ve seen in many Thailand hotels. I won’t stay again, though others might like it.

It’s very clean and comfortable, though the location isn’t interesting.

The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were clean and nice. We’d booked a balcony room but got one without, though they quickly sorted us into another room. The service was a bit messy, but they made up for it with kindness. The area is great if you want quiet nights instead of partying, with several 7elevens nearby. Breakfast was supposed to be worth over 220 bath, but local restaurants had the same kind of American or English breakfast for 100 bath less. We usually eat out anyway, but were a bit disappointed. I asked about laundry since there were plenty of places around, but nobody told me the price. I usually pay around 200 for 2kg, or 300-400 with an express fee, though that’s rare. I didn’t expect to be charged 850 bath. Maybe they misunderstood and sent it to dry cleaning, I don’t know what happened. When I complained the next morning, a gentleman helped us even though it was early, gave us a discount, and apologized. He said they should always tell guests the price.

I had a great stay here. The rooms were nice and clean, and the service was excellent. While I was here, I pretty much lived on room service and the free breakfast.
