Stayed in this apartment on New Year's Eve 2026. It felt like home, and 890 baht was a reasonable price. Breakfast was included, and it’s a three minute walk to the main road. Auntie is so cute. Recommended!

A comfortable enough place at an affordable price, with breakfast included. The host also shared a few useful ways to save money while getting around, like taking the red bus to the MRT station. Disclaimer: My reviews are based on my real experiences, whether good, bad, or exceptional. I give five stars when service goes beyond what I expect. I’ve written over 400 reviews and made 7,000 contributions, including 522 restaurant reviews for The City Guide weekly. I don’t sweat small things like a $5 overcharge or bitter coffee. My feedback is about the quality of the experience.
The host lady was the sweetest, and her breakfast was so good. She made me feel right at home. The area is fantastic, with markets and live music every night, and it’s a good choice if you don’t want to stay somewhere hectic. It’s easy to get buses to Udom Suk BTS station and then head into town. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the distance, but I’d book this place if you want to see local Bangkok.
Udomsuk Walk night market is close by, which makes for a great location.
There are four double rooms for rent at reasonable rates. Each has a microwave, fridge and sink, and the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. The people are really friendly, speak English and Thai, and you can order food to eat in the food area. Five stars overall.
