The room was huge, very clean, and beautifully designed, with stairs up to our own pool overlooking the river and skyline. The sunset views were unreal, and the place felt peaceful, private, and luxurious. The staff were warm and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived, and security kept us feeling safe and relaxed. Food and drinks were consistently fresh and delicious, especially the cocktails. The hotel exceeded what we expected, and I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok. The river-view room was lovely, and the showers were amazing, though the water left my skin very dry. Staff were very good, with lots of smiles around the property. It was quiet and had a nice river view, but the hotel sits down an alley and isn't very walkable. There’s a great free tuk tuk or boat shuttle to certain areas, but it only drops you off. Grab was inexpensive for the return. I was also surprised this was the first resort hotel where I had to pay for ice, on top of the service fee and tax.

I came as a solo traveler from the USA and the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and explain some of Bangkok’s cultural side. Nick, who I believe is the owner or manager, was especially wonderful. My servers Tong & Ploy were sweet and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with a daily buffet-style setup and great dishes to order. I loved the Thai breakfasts and the heavenly Thai iced coffee and tea. I also had lunch on arrival and dinner one night. The hotel is very clean, and the grounds are carefully looked after day and night. There are two beautiful pools, a workout room, and a rooftop bar. It’s charming, modern, and quiet, with no noise from adjoining rooms. The water taxi and valet were handy for arrivals and departures. I found no negatives. Any biased reviews may have been looking for flaws or had interesting expectations. I believe you get what you give when traveling in other countries, and I have the utmost respect for the beauty, care, and hospitality here. It was a perfect start to my Bangkok trip, and I’m sad to leave this lovely riverside boutique hotel.

They made my birthday feel special by accepting a cake delivery before I arrived and decorating the room. I’d also added the birthday package, and communication was great. My girlfriend was over the moon, thanks! The one service issue was that our room wasn’t cleaned at all during my three days there, so I had no fresh towels for the pool, which I used a lot.
