Soi 8 is a great base, just a short walk from Sukhumvit Rd. There's a wide choice of restaurants, bars, massage places, and convenience stores nearby, and Nana BTS is right there for getting around the city or connecting elsewhere. I didn't get to see or use the pool, so I can't comment on it. The hotel is old and the rooms look dated, but ours was kept clean and the bed was comfortable. Service is what really stands out: the front desk staff were “rock stars,” always smiling and ready to help with any question. The room cleaning team worked like a race car pit crew, usually with three or four people on the job. If you want a budget-friendly, no-frills stay, this fits.

The windows had a great view, and the location was excellent in a lively area. The rooms were fine, especially if you don't plan to spend much time indoors. The metro is about 15 minutes away, so it's a bit of a walk. The bathroom was somewhat unpleasant, and the rooftop pool was tiny, with room for just one person.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there are several bars and restaurants nearby, plus two 7-11s. Monsoon is worth recommending, especially for breakfast. The hotel is close to Sukhumvit but far enough from the bustle to sleep well. Service has been amazing and always with a smile. It's nicely priced for how comfortable it is, and I'd definitely stay again.

Being in the middle of Bangkok made it easy to get around, with the metro nearby, places to eat close at hand, and a 7-Eleven right next door. We spent seven nights at The Promenade Hotel and found the service, hospitality, and facilities really good. The price felt reasonable for what we got, and the stay was comfortable.

The rooms are pretty basic, but they cover what you need. The place is right in a lively central area, and Nana station makes it easy to get around. A great place to stay.
