The rooms are cozy, the atmosphere feels warm and authentic, and the location is excellent. I love the vintage charm of the beautiful old Thai wooden house, and the owner is so lovely and welcoming. Every time I come to Bangkok, I stay here. Five stars is all I can give, but I’d give it 100 if I could! 🥰💛🌿🏡✨📍⭐️💯

The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the AC worked well. The location is great too. The owner was kind and helpful. Amazing stay, I’d highly recommend this hostel 🫶🫶

I only met the family who own this place a few weeks ago, but I already love them. They’re incredibly sweet and help with everything you need, always smiling, which is such a nice way to start the day. This has become my home away from home. I’ve just left and already miss it, and I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Bangkok.

The two stars are only for the really nice, friendly staff. Without them, I wouldn’t give this place any stars. For the room and price, I’d suggest finding somewhere better. In the morning the room gets very bright, which may be fine if you’re a morning person. There’s almost nothing in it besides a bed and open clothes storage. No hairdryer, and the private room door doesn’t lock from the inside. Hong Hostel was a poor use of money.

A simple, nice stay for a budget, in a good location with a clean, comfy bed. Check-in and checkout were self-service, so I didn’t actually need to meet the host. Luckily I did meet her, and she was really kind and nice.
