The Siam Heritage Hotel

It’s a beautiful hotel, friendly and clean, with comfortable rooms and welcoming staff. The rooftop pools and sitting area are small, but adorable. Breakfast is plentiful, so come early. It’s well located, with Pat Pong road nearby. The only drawback for me was not getting the exact room type I booked, though it was fine anyway.

I came back twice during my three-month trip around Thailand and loved my time here. The location in the heart of Silom is convenient, close to the night market, BTS sky train, restaurants, and clubs, including lots of gay bars and clubs. The rooms are very spacious, with a huge double bed and a desk that’s useful if you work remotely. The hotel has an old-style feel and the rooms might seem a little dated, but the staff and service are superb, and it has almost everything you could need. Will add more info soon!

The Presidential suite has a great layout, and we slept well during our eight-night stay. I did miss having a king-size bed. Housekeeping was wonderful, and the room’s old look feels like real heritage. The daily breakfast was very good value.

The location is great, with the MRT about five minutes away and the BTS around ten, plus plenty of nearby restaurants. The staff are fabulous, but the hotel feels dated and needs a major refurbishment. During my stay I had a few maintenance problems: the toilet blocked twice, the TV remote and digi. Box needed new batteries, and the air conditioning was very noisy.
