The service was pretty crappy, and they were hard to reach. The owner suddenly wasn’t in bkk. Then I finally got through, only for them to forget to reply again. At 4.5k, it costs about the same as buying a tux off the rack.

I found this shop when I needed wedding suits. The suits themselves and the service were very nice. You may want to call before you go, since the shop is sometimes closed.

The hosts were avid travelers who spoke excellent English, and staying with this Thai family was a wonderful experience. They were incredibly kind and attentive. You can suggest breakfast if you have particular requests. We didn’t this time, and loved everything they made: the portions were generous and the food was delicious. The room was quite small, and the bathroom smaller still. Not having a separate shower area was a bit of a hassle. Even so, the room’s style, lighting, and overall comfort were fantastic. I highly recommend this kind of accommodation, except perhaps if you’re looking for upscale hotels.
