The Quarter Chaophraya by UHG

Jack at reception was accommodating and helpful as soon as we arrived early. The rooms weren’t ready at first, and although I offered to pay for early check-in, he looked for an available room and got us in about 35 minutes before the official 2PM check-in time. We appreciated his effort and excellent service. Our room was cozy, with cold air-conditioning and a lovely river and pool view. The lobby felt beautiful and relaxing, and the pool area was lovely too. My 13-year-old daughter especially enjoyed the pool and slide, and we had fun swimming at night. Housekeeping cleaned the room properly. Breakfast was decent, with the usual Western and Asian options and some vegetables. There was a waffle corner, though we didn’t get to try it. The pasta was a bit dry and not soft, and my daughter found the bacon quite hard. The rest was okay. One morning before 7:30AM, before we went to the temple, I needed to work for a few minutes while my daughter ate. I asked politely for a larger 3- or 4-seater instead of the small round table. A female staff member said those tables were only for families. I understand larger groups may get priority, but many tables were still vacant at that early hour. I felt disappointed because my daughter and I are also a family, even though there were only two of us. After we came back from the night market one evening, I went to reception to buy water. The receptionist said there was no need to pay and gave us two complimentary bottles, which was thoughtful. We also accidentally slept in on our second night and woke around 11:30AM. With checkout at 12 noon, the hotel kindly let us stay until 12:30PM, which gave us time to get ready comfortably. Thanks to Jack and the team for making the stay welcoming. We had a pleasant visit and would happily return.

The café inside, Casa Lapin, was my favorite part of staying at The Quarter Chaophraya. I didn’t expect it to be this good. The Thai tea and coffee were both lovely, and the almond cake was soft and not too sweet, just right with a drink. I went back more than once. The hotel was clean, had a nice vibe, and sat right by the Chao Phraya River, with a very relaxed view and atmosphere. The room was well kept and the staff were friendly. It was easy to get there and close to ICONSIAM, with plenty of parking. I really liked my stay and would definitely come back.

We had a lovely stay and the staff were so kind and helpful. Since we were leaving at 5 a.m., they even put together breakfast for us. The room was huge and really nice, with an amazing view over the city and river. Breakfast had plenty of Thai choices alongside a very good continental spread. The hotel itself is enormous, with a mini supermarket, massage shop, a very good fitness center, and a spa. Just good memories, thank you.

The team made us feel welcome from the start and were friendly and attentive throughout. Breakfast was fresh, well prepared, and had so many tasty choices. We really appreciated the wonderful hospitality and service during our stay. Highly recommended!
