My queen bed room was okay, clean, and had good room service. There was no safe, and the old-fashioned lock made me feel less than fully secure. Whenever I went out, I had to lock the door from inside by pressing the button on the handle. They only provide a bar of soap, no shampoo or conditioner. I had trouble with the AC remote and mosquitoes, but both issues were fixed quickly.

The room was acceptable for the price, but a little cramped to move around with the bed layout and room size. We booked for one person, yet there were only two clothes hangers. The room was clean enough. There are just three outlets for three people, one taken by the TV, and the other two are so close that plugging in a charger blocks the other. At least you can use the outlets without an adapter. The hotel is some distance from the city center, though a train station and boat service are about 1 km away on foot, and there are several convenience stores within walking distance.

It was near my workplace, but the street traffic was very noisy. On the second night, guests in several rooms were shouting and talking loudly with their doors open, singing and clapping. It started at 1am and went on until I went to reception to complain at 4am. We cut our stay short. I was also fed up with seeing sex workers, including in reception taking inappropriate photos.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed it. The rooms were nice and clean, and the service was good. It's a bit far from downtown, but an easy walk to the mass transit line.
